A fellowship named for who it serves
The Ambrose Conrad McAuley (ACM) Fellowship supports Black American graduate students pursuing degrees abroad. It is built to remove the financial, social, and cultural barriers that stand between capable students and a degree overseas, and it fosters leadership and global readiness through a strong cohort experience.
Who's eligible
- ✓You are a Black American student.
- ✓You are enrolled in, or accepted into, a graduate program abroad (master's or PhD).
- ✓You are actively making a positive impact through community service, leadership, or similar engagement.
- ✓You need financial support to fund your program abroad.

- Personal statement on leadership, purpose, and global goals

How we choose
- 1Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis through August 31 each year.
- 2Finalists are selected on purpose, leadership, impact, and clarity.
- 3The review panel includes the Ariventures Abroad Board and previous Fellows.
- 4Each year's cohort is announced in September, with funding disbursed for the fall semester.
