What we won't do

A short list, to save us both the conversation

No.

Sell student stories as marketing.

Every fellow story used in partnership material is consented and reviewed by the fellow. We don't ship copy that uses students as props.

No.

Over-promise outcomes.

We don't quote stats we can't source. If a number isn't backed, it doesn't go in the deck. That applies to your reports too.

No.

Greenwash.

Our Stewardship pillar is real or it isn't. We won't co-design a partnership that lets an org claim impact we didn't actually create.

No.

Take exclusivity at the expense of mission.

If your industry has a competing funder doing aligned work, we may take support from both. We say it on the first call.

"I needed something defensible. They sent a one-pager with the metric, the methodology, and a fellow's name. That's what I took to the committee."

Starting the conversation

From inbound to MOU in four steps

We don't skip due diligence, and we don't drag. A typical cycle is 6 to 10 weeks.

01 · Intro

A 30-minute call

You describe your strategy and budget cycle. We describe where we fit and where we don't.

02 · Case for support

We send the package

Our case PDF, most recent 990, and a model proposal. You review internally.

03 · Scoping

A joint working session

We co-design the metric, the cadence, and the surface area together.

04 · MOU + kickoff

Light agreement

Named outcomes and the first reporting date on the calendar.

Partner FAQ

What budget and comms teams ask

Do you offer exclusivity in our industry?

Not by default. Exclusivity narrows our funder base, and we'd rather have aligned partners than fewer ones. We'll be transparent about who else in your space is supporting us, on the first call, before anything is signed.

What reporting do you provide to a corporate partner?

Quarterly: named fellows supported, workshop sessions delivered, and qualitative texture from the cohort. Annually: a full impact report in your team's preferred format (PDF, Notion, or deck). All on a calendar you set at MOU.

Can our employees mentor fellows?

Yes. Employees go through our mentor training and are matched based on field and student fit. We don't pair on convenience.

How is Ariventures Abroad structured legally?

A 501(c)(3) public charity, U.S.-based, with our EIN provided on the first call. A board of seven. Our operating budget is available in the case for support.
