Global Ready Workshop Series

Equipping students to thrive overseas, from campus to career

Our Global Ready Workshops are built for students of all backgrounds for global success. We collaborate with universities, nonprofits, and student programs to deliver tailored, engaging sessions.

Providing insight into what studying abroad entails and the benefits and opportunities it can offer. Students will be equipped with the knowledge to help decide if studying abroad is for them.

Guiding students through the process of researching, evaluating, and selecting the location and study abroad program that best aligns with their academic, personal, and professional goals.

Preparing students with an overview is essential for a successful start to their study abroad experience. This includes tips for traveling, cultural adjustment, and health and safety.

Helping students develop practical skills in areas like cross-cultural communication, navigating unfamiliar environments, and managing health and safety.

This workshop shows students how to turn their international experience into real professional momentum. We cover how global exposure strengthens leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and how to translate these into resumes, interviews, LinkedIn profiles, and grad school applications. Students learn how to position themselves for global careers, connect with international networks, and use study abroad as a launchpad for long-term success.

Not everyone talks about the mindset shift that comes from studying abroad.
This workshop breaks down how:

  • Adaptability

  • Crisis management

  • Resourcefulness

  • Identity awareness

  • Resilience
grow exponentially when students live abroad.

Demystifying the process of securing scholarships, grants, and other financial aid to make study abroad accessible for students from all backgrounds.

Guiding in-depth discussions and activities where students can deepen their cultural awareness and broaden their understanding of diverse worldviews. Additionally, students will learn strategies for experiencing as much local culture as possible while staying safe once abroad.

This session prepares students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, to navigate global spaces with confidence. We break down what it means to show up as an American abroad while holding multiple identities, and how to manage cultural misunderstandings, stereotypes, safety considerations, and moments of discomfort. Students leave with strategies to advocate for themselves, build community abroad, and move through the world with clarity, pride, and resilience.

Providing intensive language courses tailored to students’ destination countries, conversational practice with native speakers, and cultural context and etiquette tied to language use. Additionally, students will have access to resources for continued language learning once abroad.

This workshop helps students understand how to travel responsibly while still having a meaningful, affordable experience. We break down practical ways to reduce environmental impact, engage ethically with local communities, choose sustainable housing and activities, and navigate global destinations with awareness. Students leave with a clearer sense of how their choices abroad shape the places they visit, and how to become travelers who respect cultures, protect the planet, and contribute positively wherever they go.
